Zingo’s is more than a taqueria, it’s a continuation of a family story built over decades. What began as street vending has grown into a space where people gather, share a meal, and experience food made with heart.

That story started in 1992, selling tacos from a small cart at Wabash and Evergreen. With roots in Puebla, Mexico, the craft came first, shaped by long days, resilience, and a deep love for feeding people. From there, it evolved naturally, from street vending to a small restaurant, then food trucks, catering, and eventually a permanent home. Every step forward carried the same foundation: hustle, consistency, and showing up for the community.

Even as the business grew, the intention never changed.

Today, Zingo’s remains rooted in El Sereno, shaped by its community and inspired by spaces that value consistency, care, and authenticity. While the restaurant marks a major milestone, the story is still evolving. Their current focus is expanding catering and bringing Zingo’s to more gatherings across the city.
